2013 MLB All Star Game Ring

Might anyone be able to tell me what metal the 2013 MLB All Star Game is made of and how best to care for it in terms of cleaning? It is mfg. by Masters of Design and is stamped MOD- OSS on the inside of the ring.

Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks,
Jonathan

p.s. By the way, if anyone has one (2013 MLB ASG Ring) that they'd be willing to part with, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

MOD = masters of design obviously, oss may be a special name for the mix of metals used to make the non-gold alloy.

Many non gold Josten rings will say something like "LTM" which stands for lustriam. Each ring manufacture probably purchases or make their own mixtures of alloys.

Whatever you do, do not bring the ring to a jeweler and have him use ulta-sound to clean the ring. The process will loosen the black or colored paint on the ring (and don't use ulta sound yourself at home).

Most jewelers, will steam clean the ring for no charge, and in 30 seconds will return your ring to a sparkling, new look.
