Goudey Wrappers
So the wifey told me that I'm grounded from buying cards for one month, she bet me I couldn't. I decided to look for a 35 Goudey wrapper to put in my set, loophole there wink wink. I know nothing about Goudey Wrappers, need all your help please. Then I get thinking, why not start a run of Goudey Wrappers.
Is there a good reference you can suggest? Any help is appreciated. |
Don't have an answer for you but there was a recent discussion here about the proliferation of fake Topps wrappers. Not sure if this is the case with Goudey, but always pays to be careful.

That's my biggest worry. Might just wait till Nationals so I have the chance to see a few examples in person.

I have a great reference and check list about them here somewhere. I’ll be glad to share with you once I find it.

I would really appreciate that

Hi, I haven’t forgotten you my friend and I’m sorry to say that I am still searching for it. I remember having it ....it was well done by a collector friend named Gerald Glasser. I hope that can help you somehow .....

There is some good info on the Old Cardboard website about many pre-war wrappers. Here is the link:

So for 1935 there are 3 wrappers but for the life of me I can't find the difference between the no line/with line.
