Bobblehead Experts - HELP!!
18 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I've been asked to sell these 3 bobbles and want some real world pricing, not the crazy ebay s**t. The Tigers one has a hairline crack under his chin but it's a square bask, not round. The other 2 are basically problem free with a little blemish here and there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Tony |
Interesting group. Let’s start with the Indians. Standard green base, 1963-65, maybe $200-300.
The Athletics has a green base but the head is from the white base series 1961-63. I have the same amalgamation for the Giants. My theory is they came from the factory this way, maybe putting together spare parts. Again, maybe $300 or more to someone looking for the variation. The Tiger is also a variation. The square bases were just about always white but I also have a green square base Giants. I’m guessing about the same value as the A’s. I was able to find these variations of the Giants. If they are particularly rare for the A’s and Tigers, they could be worth more than my estimates. Another factor is how rabid the collectors of those teams are. |

My variations are in this photo.

Thanks, that is at least a starting point!

I’d like to hear what others have to say. I bought mine years ago. I see some on ebay at what I think are good prices, but they don’t always sell. I also see them at ridiculously high prices…

Nodders
A swirly hair KC A's green base like the one shown above sold in December on eBay for $372. It was much cleaner with less damage to the rim and decals. It is a desirable nodder, but the condition is going to hold down the sale price.

Correct. Condition is everything with these pieces. An unobtrusive hairline crack can take away half of the value.
