T210 Old Mill Series 6 and these RPPCs
2 Attachment(s)
Hi all,
I would love it if some of you Old Mill experts would take a look at these three postcards and see if they could be matched to any players in Series 6. I got these three at the same time a few years ago. It seems clear the players are from Winchester in the Blue Grass League. The guy with the light uniform is in a shirt that clearly says Winchester and the other two have the same distinctive W logo that the Old Mill Winchester players have. But of course there's no easy way to nail down the exact year of the postcards. They certainly look like 1908-12 era but beyond that...? Can anyone suggest anything that might help identify? Thanks! Nice postcards Tim. Here are the rosters I found online for the Winchester Hustlers, who were in existence in the Blue Grass League from 1909 to June 8th, 1912. I recognize a few of the names from the T210 set, but perhaps others more familiar with the Old Mill sets will spot more, and maybe make a connection or two for you.

Looking into it a little further (probably not complete, as I only checked Series 6 cards), here are the cards I found for players on the Winchester rosters I posted above.

Here are some images of the T210 Winchester related players I could find while scouring the internet. Any matches? Sorry about some of the small image sizes, and even a Photobucket overlay...best I could do.
Brian (if nothing else, this thread needed more cards) |
