I'm not telling people how to spend their money, it's a free country do what you want with the money you've earned. It absolutely blows my mind that someone shelled out 3K for a sticker auto, of what is essentially a manufactured 1 of 1. All because it has the logo of a National. You can purchase a signed Trout Rookie for under that price. God knows the vintage you could buy with that amount of money.

I'm glad our Hobby is doing well but jeez, sometimes I really scratch my head and wonder what exactly is going on.

Has nothing to do with the National stamp. It's a Trout autographed superfractor, that's what gets people.

Don't worry, someone paid $175k for a rookie debut superfractor sticker auto of Tatis...

A fool and his money...

How did the fool get the money, that's the real scoop!

It is no sillier than the prices paid for a double print second year Mickey Mantle.:D

I was out for a ride in southern New Hampshire on Sunday and came out of a dunkin donuts and saw this.

$150,000.00 7.5 miles to the gallon.

No, it is not a Trout autographed card. It is a Trout autographed sticker that happened to land on a card. Card is not autographed at all.

Playing loose and fast with an autographed sticker and card is not true to form.

A definition of an autographed card is an autograph on the actual card not on a sticker stuck to a card.

Cheapness man, cheapness

Cheers

All for a guy who has yet to play a full season......

His talent is incredible but who knows how the rest of his career shapes up. Especially with all these injuries he has suffered from already.

$3K for a 1/1 Trout Superfractor auto makes a lot more sense to me than a lot of vintage card prices.
