Timing is everything when selling T206 Wagner

So last month a SGC-Auth T206 Wagner sold for $2.52Mil. A PSA-1.5 sold for $2.28Mil last nite. People can argue that SGC-Auth Wagner was once owned by Garagiola and carry a premium (hmmm.......)

Would be interesting to see the hammer price of that PSA-2 Wagner later this month.

The vertical fault line running down the Heritage example had far inferior eye appeal, at least in my subjective opinion.

It’s not even that rare of a card (pre war standards) and is more like a social status card. It’s always about timing.

I have a feeling the one in golden will fetch a decent price.

Each of owns an item that is more rare than the Wagner, luckily for Wagner owners, it's also about demand when determining price.

I wonder how many people are bidding on these? If there aren't many, then the price can be impacted by the removal of each purchaser from the market for the succeeding cards.

id guess there are more than enough people in want of a wagner who can afford them...than there are wagners.

Not necessarily...some folks like dubs, even if it's in the millions.
