1953 Topps Baseball - Dvorak artist cards

2 Attachment(s)
I purchased 10 baseball cards from the 1953 Topps set from someone who knew Gerry Dvorak, the seller claimed they were from his collection. I am curious if anyone knows anything about the cards that are white blank backed and thinner in stock. Anyone here lend any insight into the cards.

I bought couple just like these about 10 yrs ago. Blank back, cut by hand, and signed by the artist. I bought them on eBay and when I received them they looked like the fakest things I've seen that I sent them back and got a refund.

Not saying yours are fake, this is just what I've experienced with these if they were even the same as what you have here.

I'm just going from 25-30 year-old memory here. We did a couple of articles, interviews with Dvorak in Baseball Cards magazine in the 1980s.

He did a number of collectors' items around then. I believe these are from
a poster he offered. They are, essentially, modern reproductions of some of the cards he did for Topps, cut from the poster.
