Do I have the bat on this card? Jose Uribe 1988 Fleer

I was looking through e-bay for the name and came across this card... The bat I have looks like the one on the card. It also appears to be game used and autographed. I've never even heard the guys name until I looked it up.

Can anyone verify this one way or the other?

Thanks,

Sean

Uribe never wore 6, atleast not in the majors.

So the number written on the bat barrel is the players number? I have 10 other bats that this is the case with (the number doesn't match the player #).

Does that mean they aren't game used?

They're game used but most likely by other players.

If you look clearly at the card, you can see "Tennessee Thumper" is intact, but worn away on yours.

I'd figure 15 years can wear lettering off, but if the number on the knob means it's not his nothing else on the bat really matters.

Thanks for the responses guys.

Still not firewood by any means. I have #'s on knobs that don't match and some are due to them being used in the minor leagues.

Either way, they're still cool to have.
