Help with possible baseball player photo identification
 

Recently puchased some older baseball memorbilia. Included in this puchase were some older sporting news supplements,autographed balls ,photos etc.I had help earlier on id of one of the baseballs and thanks to all who helped me out with that. My question is can anyone identify this photo as a player they may recognize or was this just probably a random old photo thrown in the box?Thanks in advance.

A straight-on picture with higher resolution would probably help.
