T206 Meyers Redux x 4 on Ebay

Hmmm, how can this be? This exact PSA 5.5 Meyers card is up for the 4th time in less than 2 months on eBay with Probstein. I can see maybe one time it gets relisted because of non payment, but now 4 times? I sent an email to Probstein during the last auction for this card asking why is this the 3rd time this card has come up for sale recently? I asked because I was interested in bidding but wanted an explanation before putting money towards a seemingly shaky situation.

No response.

Here are the date, final sale price & bids for the same Meyers card on Probstein's auction:
2/20/23 $343 26 bids
3/9/23 $350 40 bids
3/21/23 $356 17 bids

Is this a matter of the seller having Probstein re-list because the hammer price was below expectations?

The seller only has 133 negatives this month and 1451 over the last 12 months. So not sure how it could be anything but a non paying bidder from such an honest seller.;)

Look at that sales price climb the ladder!

At this rate, in just another ~100 auctions, it will break 4 figures!

Even with a lot of sales that's a lot of negatives. That's a well oiled machine right there :)

The Meyers ended at $355, which is right around where two other prior auctions ended. Clearly the market for this card is between $350 and $356. There is no way it trades for more bc that’s 3 auctions where the same exact card closed between that range.

I agree, fishy

Possibly the consigner asked for a minimum bid reserve?

Yes, totally agree. This is clearly what the card is worth. It's actually the 4th auction for the card since February. Ending prices: $343, $350, $356, $355. We'll see if it goes back up again in a few weeks.

Any one know what the Record is for Negs in a Month?

It would take a team knuckleheads wokin' full time to achieve these numbers :D
