Are There Any Collectors of 20s Movie Lobby Cards Here? (Price Question)
1 Attachment(s)
This movie, "Diamonds Adrift" was a 1921 release. It is pretty much an obscure, forgotten film, but I bought this as a gift in 1991 for my mother who loved her cats. I've seen one other lobby card from the film featuring another scene, plus a publicity photo that's been on eBay for quite some time. My mother passed in 2015 and I've stored it in a closet. If anyone has an idea as to its value, please let me know. Thank you.

I collect movie lobby cards with baseball players in them. From my experiences most of them don't have a ton of value but of course have some. I think movie lobby cards, with no major significance, are probably in the $50 - $150 dollar range.
This one cost around $110 dollars 5 yrs ago. I don't really think most of them have gone up a lot in value However, ones with top tier baseball players might have since the cards have exploded., I have paid up to around 1700 for a very early Babe Ruth Lobby card... https://luckeycards.com/gehrigmovie.jpg |
Thank you, Leon. It's obscure and the star of the movie, Earle Williams died in 1927 so he's also forgotten. I figured it would appeal to a cat lover like my mother was. Besides, it would give me some funds for set completion (1970 and 1973) or upgrades (1971, 1972, 1974, and 1976.) I might sell it locally here in the Los Angeles County area, rather than eBay.
Take care and I appreciate the forum that you have provided for us collectors to gather. Phil |
