Is this the last in a long line of questionable 1919 World Series Tickets that have been appearing lately?

Posted By: Cat
Scott:

This is the only auction that this seller has had where the User ID has been kept private and it is a one day auction. I made up my mind a long time ago that I would never bid on one of these.

That is all I can say about it!!!

Posted By: Rob L
How often are these reprinted? I don't know much about the ticket scene. I would guess that these and the Game 3 1932 tickets would be reproduced quite a bit. Any thoughts?

Rob L

Posted By: Trevor Hocking
This ticket is a complete fake. The image used to make it comes from the Fogal ticket in the Smithsonian book. Look at the bottom rigt corner and you will see the diagonal strap that was used for framing his ticket in the scanned copy. Plus I have never seen a real puch holed 1919 World Series ticket, they all come torn. I have a ticket from games 1, 2, ad 3 and everyone is torn. You would also see a lot brighter yellows even when it is dirty. Anyways I'm sure I just told the scammer how to make a better mouse trap but oh well. Soon they well get so good at the copies that we won't even be able to know for sure. This stuff is just said.
Trevor
