Christie Mathewson and Ed Murphy - 1921 W-Unc. Self-developing Strip Cards

Hello,

It is almost auction time at Heritage. My two 1921 cards are up for sale. They are very rare. Previously undocumented, they are now the only ones known to exist.

Bidding begins on April 21st.

1921 W-Unc. Self-Developing Strip Card Christy Mathewson
SGC 20 Fair 1.5 - The Only Graded Example! This is one of two examples from this rare set available in this auction. Currently, nothing is really known for sure about these small 1-1/16" x 1-5/8" cards. They are real photos and some believe they were intended to be developed by consumers like the Topps "Magic Photo" series. There are currently sixteen different subjects and it is a safe bet new subjects will be discovered. Offered is the only graded example of New York Giants all-time great Christy Mathewson. Graded SGC 20 Fair 1.5.

1921 W-Unc. Self-Developing Strip Card Eddie Murphy
SGC 20 Fair 1.5 - The Only Graded Example! This is one of two examples from this rare set available in this auction. These small 1-1/16" x 1-5/8" cards hold a fascination with modern hobbyists as nothing is really known about them. They are real photos and some believe they were intended to be developed by consumers like the Topps "Magic Photo" cards. Since this and the Mathewson we offer are developed so nicely it is possible they are prototypes of some never produced promotion. There are currently sixteen different subjects. Offered is the only graded example of Eddie Murphy of the Chicago White Sox. Graded SGC 20 Fair 1.5.

Please pass the word on to anyone you think might be interested. Happy bidding!

Tom

Shouldn't this be in the BST section?
