All star game rings

What is the average price for baseball all-star game rings if the original owner is not known? I see on the Huggins auction a few of them starting for $1000. What is a good price to pay for them and do the ones in the auction look legit?

I'm not that knowledgeable in this area but I thing $500 - 1500 and seem to recall 800-1200 being about right.
