1939 Cubs Panorama Photo Questions

I purchased the Cubs panorama photo shown below a while ago and I have some questions regarding it. I saw one in SCP Auctions in 2010 (no bids) and one on Worthpoint but no others. Does anyone know what this was made for? Is it from 1939 or was it made for a later team reunion? I would really appreciate any information regarding this item that anyone can provide. It's the 1939 team, Earl Whitehill is shown and that was his only season with the cubs (his final season)
