Customer Complaints

Please keep your complaints off of Net54. This is not a forum for you to leverage a few hundred bucks out of REA or SGC or whomever. You have a huge problem, get the authorities involved. If it's not worth getting the authorities involved, then why should anyone on Net54 care?

"If you don't give me exactly what I want, I'm going to bitch to Net54 and try to hurt your business."

Net54 is not a consumer advocacy group.

well

With all due respect Paul, I completely disagree.

This board has done a huge service to the hobby, over the years, in helping address fraud and many other things that are wrong with the hobby. It is one of the biggest assets the board has, imo.

I will say that anyone complaining will NOT be able to remain private though. And remember that you are legally liable for what you say on the board. regards

Personally, I don't mind when somebody shares some of the instances when deals turn bad. In some cases, it can warn others to be wary of some sellers out there who aren't necessarily out there to deal fairly, especially once they have their money.

That said...when those posts devolve into pissing matches I just stop reading them. At best, it pollutes the ambience here; at worst, it smacks of extortion. Some get into the intrigue and he said/he said drama, but if I want that kind of drama in my life I'd just ask my wife if one of her friends or coworkers is single.

Careful....

Careful, Leon. If you continue to disagree with me, I'm going to find a chat board somewhere and tell everyone how unfair you are being.

There already is one of those boards you mention extant.

It's America and everyone can gripe all they want to wherever they want to, as far as I am concerned. Some of the same people that gripe are still on this board, though I don't know why? Maybe so they can mock me and be little piss ants :). Yes, you know who you are......

A headsup (from a long-time poster) can be valuable. Keep 'em coming.

Most here are savvy enough to smell a rat and can sense an ulterior motive. Steve

Browncow75 06-27-2010 10:57 AM

Pretty simple fix...

If you are tired of reading those type of posts...DON'T CLICK ON THEM! That should solve your issue with the complaint posts.

HRBAKER 06-27-2010 12:02 PM

Agreed, if there is a significant issue @ hand it serves the community at large to inform. IMO there is a thin line between having tried all avenues to reach accomodation and a "I'll show you" posting on the board.

Very well said Steve, and I agree 100%!

Robextend 06-27-2010 12:31 PM

Nothing wrong with voicing complaints. You can agree or disagree with the complainer, but either way it is valuable to see how different situations are dealt with.

Thrill-of-the-Hunt 06-27-2010 01:00 PM

this post goes along with so many other strong opinions on this board... if you dont like the subject matter, then dont read and follow the topics. move on to something else. we will always have controversy here, its the nature of the personalities here.

Steve D 06-27-2010 04:04 PM

Personally, I don't mind the posts.

They help me get my soap opera fix without having to turn on my TV ;)

And they serve to remind me that I'm not so bad after all :p

:D

I think I was just referred to as a piss ant. ok, I can buy that.

Browncow75 06-27-2010 04:36 PM

As long as Im not the one being complained about, I have no problem with the posts! :p

Leon 06-27-2010 04:53 PM

not quite

Dan- do you mock me? Do you say you don't like this board but then still come here? If you answered no to those questions then I wasn't referring to you. (and no, I wasn't referring to you if there is any doubt).

Browncow75 06-27-2010 05:10 PM

Hey! That goes in the thread about personal attacks being misconstrued by accident, right?

Leon 06-27-2010 05:17 PM

thanks Brandon....

I need to keep the "attack" threads straight. Sorry about that!!

Browncow75 06-27-2010 05:23 PM

Hey Leon...

Just adding a little light-hearted jab to an otherwise tense situation. You are the man, so you can do whatever you wish as far as Im concerned!

There should be a limit, but without negative posts, we would not know what is going on that can be valuable info
