Anybody collect HOFers like Mays Mantle Williams Ruth and others

If so, I have them and am looking to trade. I will even trade in your favor for 1961s I need for my set. Thanks.

Here's what I have FT (constantly adding more to the list as well):

1961

Looks like I have six from your list.......I have 5 of the six scanned, but the PM wouldn't take it......likely too big..........No writing on backs. The #'s are 27,138,155,173, 204, 231. Looks like we'll need to do it via email...

yea, I don't understand why people on here won't just post the links from photobucket (or whatever photo hosting site they're using). makes no sense. seems it'd be easier to do that than send an email.

anybody today?

wow, nobody needs any vintage HOFers? I am looking for 1961 commons in exchange for the vintage HOFer cards. You won't find a deal better than that. Lets trade

I think part of the lack of interest might be because you have posted in a section titled "1950 to 1979 Baseball cards - B/S/T" yet the oldest card you are offering is from 1986.

But I could be wrong,
Doug

I posted here for 2 reasons...the first is I'm looking for 1961s. The second is because all of these players played in the 50s-70s if not before. So I have stuff of players from the era, so am within "the rules" or whatever.

Plus, I know people don't just trade vintage for vintage. At least I don't. I know that lots of times I've traded for newer cards while giving up vintage.

I have probably 1,200 vintage (1921-1975) for trade, but just don't go through the task of listing them. Most everyone wants the hottest prospects, or the great GUd or autographed card.

I'm not saying you broke any rules, and I'm not saying people don't trade vintage for current, and vice versa, but I would be willing to bet that the average person who looks in this section is looking for cards from this era.

Speaking just for myself, when I look in this section, I have exactly zero interest in any cards featuring the so called hottest prospects (think Mark Fidrych), or supposed game used (sure it was, and I'm glad it was cut into tiny pieces and glued on a card)) or anything autographed, UNLESS those cards are from the 1950 thru 1979 range, and since none of that stuff existed before Upper Deck came along and ruined the hobby (sorry, an old man's opinion), well, you probably get my point.

My original post was not meant to scold you, or claim you were breaking any rules, it was just to point out that since 5 of the first 6 posts to this thread were from you, maybe you would get more responses in a different section.

But again, I could be wrong,
