Altered Ticket/Pass - be careful out there

All,
Be careful if you see this Baltimore Season Pass. It's from 1903 and sold last month on Ebay. The winner of it switched the Date on it. You can see he put Sept 5 1914. That date is a date Babe Ruth hit a home run in the minors for his Baltimore Orioles, luckily the winner of this Pass and forger, is also a moron as Baltimore was on the road not at home that day. (Guessing he'll switch it to a 3rd date once he figures that out) But regardless he is shopping it around. I've always been wary of dates and info written on tickets. I know a lot of it is BS and modern. PSA fairly recently stopped slabbing tickets that had dates "written" on them. Unfortunately they have slabbed false ones so they are out there. But this guy selling this Baltimore Pass is a pure fraudster. -Paul Gruszka (genius at large) |
Thanks for the alert. There is a special place in Memorabilia Hell for people that do this kind of thing.

Indeed.
...and his Ebay ID is/was 7713. So you can imagine how long he has been altering tickets/passes with dates. |
