Ive had this large team photo in my collection for many years but i have no information on it. Does anyone know anything about it , own one , or seen it ? There is currently a beater listed on ebay but with no detail or info. This photo ( my largest baseball card ) is very large ! Measures about 11 x 17 with a blank back and no mfg.info. This photo doesn't seem to be uncommon but most of the ones online do not feature Chief Wahoo . Thanks for any help .

Looks very similar to other team issued promos from the era. I had one from the PCL that was a 1950 and followed roughly the same format.

1950s Large Cleveland Indians Team Photos

I don’t know the manufacturer of this photo, but there are similarly sized Cleveland team photos for at least 1951 and 1952 as well. I have not seen any earlier than 1950 that are this size, but I suppose it’s possible earlier ones are out there.

Any idea how one got a hold of these team issued promos ? Stadium , mail in , or at a store ? Kinda neat how Chief Wahoo is like photo shopped in there. I wonder who the original model was ?

This bad boy is big i wonder how many of these survived and also would the size have kept fans from wanting one. The example on ebay is a real beater.
