The price is a little strong........

http://www.amazon.com/E120-American-...5803058&sr=1-1

But it does include free shipping.

toledo_mudhen 11-30-2013 04:15 AM

Price: $1,378,048.41

What an odd number...hadda been pulled right outta where the sun don't shine... Do millionaires really surf Amazon?

Dean's Cards, eh? If the seller is the same as the one on Ebay, this card's price is inflated by multiples. Makes me wonder if he really wants to sell his cards by the way they are priced.

vargha 11-30-2013 08:01 AM

I bet you could get it for $500K if you bargained with him.

dabigyankeeman 11-30-2013 12:06 PM

I was gonna buy it, but that additional 41-cents at the end just made it too high.

frankbmd 11-30-2013 12:25 PM

I have asked the seller the following.....

Is this item likely to appreciate in value?

I will post an answer if one is received.:D

If it is Dean's Cards, I have no idea who would buy from him.

Anyone, of course, can list anything for whatever price they want.....

He lists a ton a Tom Tresh cards and I'm like "What the heck...."

bxb 11-30-2013 12:36 PM

Publicity.

It gives him the highest listing in Amazon cards section.

Acollector 11-30-2013 01:18 PM

The jokes on all of you, it just sold! Just kidding. Maybe he has to charge that much to cover the ridiculous Amazon fees. He would end up paying in the vicinity of about $250,000 to Amazon, so he isn't quite as greedy as you once thought. That's if it were to actually sell.

I like how Amazon shows: "Customers who viewed this also viewed:"

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008B1...pi=SL500_SS115

The feedback section makes me want to get these!!

glynparson 11-30-2013 01:40 PM

S.E.O. Optimization ploy?

Just a theory.

bn2cardz 12-02-2013 09:54 AM

1+3+7+8+10(0=10)+4+8 =41 :)
or working backwords 841-804=37 with an extra 1 to start things off.

cguidi 12-02-2013 10:06 AM

Does it get delivered by drone?

Dean's Cards. On permanent block in all my Ebay searches because of unrealistic prices.

From Dean's Cards fine print:

"All prices are final and we do not negotiate. This policy is to ensure that everyone is getting our best possible deal. So please do not ask us to negotiate on price."

Well, as long as I'm getting the best deal possible...

I guess Dean's never heard of inventory turn. Either that, or he's independently wealthy and doesn't care about his Ebay sales.
