I need opinions if this is a real autograph of his
I dont know how old the reprint is since he passed in 1959 any help is appreciated |
You probably already know this, but "Earlier in his career and up until the mid-to-late 1930s, Lajoie would often use his full first name "Napoleon" when signing. After that point, Lajoie started signing items as "Larry" much more frequently. The stellar hitter would often add a date to his autographs as well. This became an even more common practice after his retirement as a player."
https://www.psacard.com/autographfac...eon-lajoie/26/ Came across this old thread about T206 reprints, and I'm not sure any were made during Lajoie's life, let alone when he would likely have signed "Napoleon Lajoie" up until the mid to late 30's: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=81116 |
Clear fake. There weren’t fake T206’s in his lifetime.

T206
Looks like a much more modern reprint like 1980-90. Check out Larry Frisch sales
