ID of Muhammad Ali card

Any of you out there know the date and maker of this Ali card? I've had it kicking around forever and swear I've seen it ID'd before, but can't dig anything up right now in searching for it. It doesn't appear to be on PSA's master list.
According to Google translate it's in Portuguese.....so either Portugal or Brazil?. Card is top mounted on a custom album page. Bottom flips up, so you can see Portuguese text on the back of the actual card. Soccer player John Cruyff is the subject on the other side of the scrap. Thanks. |
Same image as 1979 Quelcom, S.A. Ases Mundiales Del Deporte #48 (Spain)
This listing shows front and back of card: https://en.todocoleccion.net/sports-...-ali~x32653404 Maybe was produced for the Portugal market with different numbering(?!?) |

Thanks. That makes sense. Back of the Portuguese one seems a little more generic. Same text, but in Portuguese instead, and the Quelcom ad is missing, at least at the bottom. Can't see the very top of the card as it's mounted on the album page. Wonder if I should conser............I mean restor.............I mean, just soak it out. |
Why not?

If it was 1930's water based glue maybe, but late 70's adhesive, I don't know. |
I know people who have had limited success with the European stuff from that time period.

Worth a shot since the Spanish version isn't worth much anyway in a glued condition. If it is a Portuguese version maybe some type collector would buy it even if it is a bit glue-ish.
|
I'd keep it on the album page, unless you are submitting it to a grading company. A potential buyer might prefer it on the page, and they could always make the decision to remove it theirselves.
