American Icon Jackie Robinson played 1st base at Ebbets field in front of a roaring crowd of 26,623. Roughly about 14,000 black patrons attended. Here's a original photo I owned that has changed many hands since I sold it.

One of my primary areas of collecting is Integration, so 4/15 is a bit of a celebration of that for me each year.
Here are a few pieces from Jackie's journey: - 1935 John Muir High School signed yearbook. To the best of my knowledge, this is the earliest Jackie Robinson autograph in the hobby - 1937 Pasadena Jr College signed yearbook - 1946 Montreal Royals team signed baseball - 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers team signed baseball Always looking for other Pre-1947 Jackie items, particularly related to his time in WWII and the Negro Leagues. |
My best Jackie item
