The Ravens played horrible and Flacco has 0 weapons to go to and they almost beat Pitts. Best bet of the day is the Cardinals getting 3 1/2 halftime bet. Take the Birds and the 7.

Final score Pitts 20 Cards 17.

Posted By: Bobby I.
Easy one Steelers in a romp. Despite having played the toughest schedule in the league the D was overwhelmingly the best in the league. Forget the possibility of the Cards running the ball, not gonna happen, E. James is soft. Pitt is gonna bring everyone on every play. K. Warner most career fumbles is gonna add to that total today and after they get behind will throw several desperation int's. Prediction Pitt 38-14, book it.

Posted By: marshall barkman
Bobbi.....you are going to be in for a miserable day. Flacco actually had time to pass but he was to nervous to get anything done. Warner has been to the dance and Fitzgerald is a monster. Also James could be very suprising because he loves the spotlight so he could show up today. Carolina blitzed alot and so did Philadelphia and both are on the couch.

As Brown signed for $62 M., I figure he majored in 'finance' and has pretty much blown by all the jokers from my class (1966).

Hope to see all in Cleveland.

Mark

Posted By: Todd Schultz
Arizona 31 Pittsburgh 27, in a game that will not be as close as the score. Cards D gets a pick 6, probably from Rodgers-Cromartie, Warner throws for 280 (more than 300 with pass interference yards), and the Redbirds, not used to the big stage, survive a poor third quarter like they did with the Eagles.

Posted By: marshall barkman
Pittsburgh will have to try and eat up the clock. The Cardinals secondary will make sure that Holmes is elimated so now what? Parker is banged up and so is Ward so cancel the blowout prediction. The Ravens D actually looked slow and tired and really the Steelers could not move the ball at all. The Cardinals look like they gained a step and their D-backs are all over the place. Also Boldin could either wilt which is unlikely or play his ass off because no matter what the guy is a stud and catch the rock. Good luck to all and may the best team win.

Their is a rumor that the Cards are having BRING THE NOISE t-shirts made as Super Bowl Champs.

The stats are all i need to see to decide this one. Larry Fitzgerald is there only real star and the Steelers defense know's it. We will win this game!

These teams had a collective 52-91 record on the season.
The Cards were 2-7 vs teams that were .500 or better and they have a
rush game that avged less per carry than any of the previous 42 super bowl
winners. They also looked like a heartless group more than once this year.
The New England game revealed a lot about what they are missing in the
character department and they didn't look much better in Philly.

Pitt played the toughest schedule in the NFL, allowed fewer YardsPerPlay
than any team in decades. The Steelers allowed a league best 157 pass
yards per game. They also were second vs the run, allowing 80 ypg. It's been
17 years since a team allowed this few YPG. Posted By: Tim
So far it looks all PIT. The only thing keeping me from thinking rout is that Arizona is a cool heads team. When Philly camer roaring back they kept it together and won. A lot of teams would have fallen apart. And they have the weapons to score a lot of points quick so 10 isn't the end of the world. One TD and they're right there.

Posted By: marshall barkman
What a great game! I must say that is probably the worst play called i have ever witnessed. You have Larry fitzgerald with 18 seconds left on the clock and instead of throwing a jump ball the coach calls for a bullet in the middle of the field. That play will no doubt change the game and the Cards are in big trouble. How does the head coach not overide that play call, it is just horrible to even try it period when you have the momentum. The offensive play caller is now changing his pants and chair because the room smells horrible.

Posted By: marshall barkman
All i can say is what a great game. Very poor officials however all the way around. Also what in the hell is the defensive coordinator thinking for the Cards? Everyone knows that Hines Ward is hurt and Holmes has major speed. Why not put two men on him at the line of scrimmage? Horrible defensive game plan for the Cards. I knew they would cover but i thought they would win the game outright. So much for the handicappers that predicted a Steeler blowout, better stick to baseball cards kids because if you bet the Steelers Tuesday is going to be a rough day.

Cardinals cover so BRING THE NOISE!
