1961 Fleer Basketball Signed Set......

Thanks to Jerry on here, I started this incredibly beautiful signed set in September 2015.

I have gotten most of the cards slabbed and they reside currently in the #2 All Time Registry Set on PSA.

The set shows me needing more but right now I am down to needed just 13 total based on what I currently have at PSA.

I obtained the impossible, the Wilt low # Rookie Signed and now down to the nitty gritty!

Please offer any you might have. I'm looking for the missing cards as well as upgrades.

Thanks and here is a link to all cards in my set with photos of every card!

Looking great, Mike! Well done.

Your Wilt signature is top notch, but your Oscar Robertson low number is the best I have seen! A lot of times you'll see O Robertson or just Big O.

The John McCarthy in ball point is really nice. I sent cards to him through the mail twice about 5-10 years ago. Still waiting. Oh, well. I'll get over it. Maybe.

I totally agree with your comments on your PSA page. They are definitely overlooked and include some of the best and most popular players of all time.

If you come up with a Walter Duke please post it right away. I've never seen one.

Good luck on the rest of your journey to completion.

Thank you so much for getting me started on this journey and your comments.

Quick funny story on John McCarthy. I noticed there were ZERO on the pop report but knew he was alive and living in NY State somewhere. Started my internet detective work and found a few that "could" have been him based on age etc....

I simply called the phone numbers that were associated with the addresses and voila......I talked with Mr. John McCarthy, told him about my set, talked for about 15 minutes on the phone about old time basketball, and then he said...send me those cards!

I actually went out and got a few more unsigned and sent him 3 or 4. I have gotten 3 back and he may have kept one as I told him he could. The one you see in my set is the 1st one I got back from him!

Take care!

Mike

PS I agree on the Big O Rookie. Here it is for all to see!
