Showpiecesports on ebay

Can’t really find much doing a search at this site but does anyone have any experience or feedback with the seller showpiecesports on eBay?

They have a number of quite rare or decent quality autograph items but the prices seem to be much higher than normal. Is the quality of the company worth paying a premium for?

They buy items off of eBay and flip them for higher multiples of what they bought things for. If you want to pay high prices, they have them. ;)

They also get items from other auction sites as well.

Thanks guys. Probably will do more searching for particular items to avoid their huge markups, sometimes between 2 and 5 times the normal price.

I bought a nice baseball from them a few weeks ago. Price was reasonable. They have other items I like that I feel like the price is high on.

I had a couple things I liked of theirs saved, and after many months of the items sitting there without the price moving at all, I finally deleted them.

I checked a few items in Watchcount and some of them have been listed for years.

Another eBay museum seller...

I've lost out on a few items in some other auction companies only to find it on eBay a week or so later from them at 2-3 times the cost of what the auction went for. If I wanted to pay 3 times as much for the item in the auction I would've kept bidding but let's not get ridiculous. I realise a guy wants to make some money but be realistic.

There are few sellers like this on eBay. Buy autographed items on eBay or from an auction house and sell for 2-3x what they paid. Unfortunately there are a lot of uneducated buyers out there and it only takes 1 or 2 sales at the highly inflated price to set a new comp price. It’s a bad cycle.

For what it's worth, I bought something from them once. I saw something they had that I liked, it was totally unique, I was OK with the price, I called them up, they were friendly, and I was quickly able to negotiate a lower price. The item arrived quickly and was solidly packed.

I tried to check them out on eBay, but showpiecesports doesn't come up as a legit ID on eBay. Is it spelled a different way?

There's one more "s" in there. It's showpiecessports.

Thanks Chris!
