This card is never registered but this is about as close as I've seen.

Not a card, but since we're talking about Jim Brown, I should mention that I mailed my 1960s baseball/football scrapbook to him with return USPS Priority Mail envelope, and it came back to me today. In it is a color action photo of him, and he signed it. Pretty darned nice of him to do it. I didn't expect it so soon, as I only mailed it to him through his Amer-I-Can Foundation three weeks ago.

From his cards anyway Brown has a very strong legible signature, not like the chicken scratches of players today.

Yes, it is. I believe he is 86 years old, but his signature is very sharp and legible. I had heard that if you send items directly to his attention, and include return pre-paid mailing, he will sign and send back to you, gratis. Very cool.
Edit: I saw that some fan sites say that there could be a 3 month turnaround. This came back in right at 3 weeks.

Thanks! Even better, it's Brown's own Cadillac and it's in the background of every Browns' player in the '64 Philly set.

Speaking of all-time great running backs....
