Don Wingfield Original Type 1 Photo- Mickey Mantle + Klu
 

Selling this pristine Don Wingfield Original Photo of Mantle and Ted Kluszewski at the 1956 All Star Game. Wonderful "crossed bats" pose is a classic, and a famous image from the master post-war photographer.

Mantle is captured in his career prime, and Big Klu is seen in his one-year style Vest, with Mr. Red present on the chest (my personal favorite!) Just s great image of the day's best sluggers from each league!

This photo remains in Gem Mint condition with razor sharp focus and clarity. Please excuse the crappy iPhone images. The photo is flawless, and is protected in a rigid sleeve within the frame. Reverse is stamped "Photo by Donald W Wingfield of The Sporting News".
