I have only seen 4 copies of this book in my years of collecting, and this is only the second dj'd copy I've seen (that said, 2 will probably show up on ebay next week)

Screwballs is tough to find too.

Max

Posted By: mr. moses
Nice fun pack that never held cards. While the company produced the brand as early I think as 1900 or so, your pack dates from 1951 or 1953 - I could be more specific but out of the five pix the one I really needed wasn't totally posted:-). I can just make out the number 121 or 123 on the upper half of the tax stamp (121-1951-you get the drill). As for the 1921 copyright date it's only the date relating to the design of that particlar package or more likely the design. Thanks for sharing though as it helps everyone and it's still a neat pack.......

Posted By: Rob Fouch
Anyone know if I got a decent deal on this blotter? I collect primarily T206 cards but spotted this and just thought it was cool. $27 a few weeks ago. I'm hoping it's authentic. Don't know why someone would go to the trouble of faking a blotter. But I guess stranger things have happened on ebay. Anybody know anything about baseball blotters? Are there a lot of them out there? I'm new to vintage memorabilia. Would love to start a collection and I think this is a cool board and a great way to learn. Don't even know what I want to collect. Guess it's like that old definition of obscenity. I'll know it when I see it. Sorry the thing's sideways. My scanner gives me fits sometimes.

It has a great image, but I have to constantly remind myself to stay focused.

The only thing I know about Stanton is that it is a very small town, and I once went to an auction up there and picked up a bunch of old baseball equipment at an auction for very little $$$s. Including a Spalding Ring bat.
