WFL Cards

Hello Forum -
A friend of mine asked me to help find cards, memorabilia, anything really about her father, Chuck Bradley. Chuck played in the WFL in 74/75 then the Chargers(75/76/77) and Bears(77). I believe there are some custom WFL cards, but don't see any on eBay or TCDB. Anyone aware of these? Thanks

The only thing appearing in player registry is the 1977 Chicago Tribune Chicago Bears Scrapbook set.

These are collectable cutouts added to the Chicago Tribune. Chuck's card was published October 9th of 1977. It's probably going to take a second to find.

Here is Payton's from that series -

As for the WFL reissues you discussed they are available here, at 75 bucks per set. - http://cards.charlottehornetswfl.com/

I believe Chuck Bradley is in Series 2 card number 131.

I would hunt for any press photos as those may be more fun. Here is one WFL that sold recently on Ebay -

I would think the announcement of his drafting by Miami would have been a cool piece, that recently sold too.

There is a company that has been producing WFL cards for several years now. You might check to see if one of their sets includes this player. Here is a link to their website.

Retro custom card - but probably the best available.
