L.A. Area Card Show August 26-28
 

With Leon's permission (thanks, Leon) I wanted to let everyone know that there is an actual card show in LA at the end of August. Unlike the other abortive attempts at shows in the last few years, I know this show is happening since its sponsor is my LCS, Burbank Sports Cards. It is at the Burbank Airport Marriott from the 26th-28th. I will be set up there with all manner of esoteric sports and nonsports cards and crapola. The facility is first-rate; I've been there for non-sports events. Tons of parking, food of all levels of cost in the hotel or across the street and up the block in a restaurant center adjacent to the airport, you can fly in and walk over from the airport (ten minute stroll) or use the Marriott's free shuttle. I would guess so; it is a hotel conference center. I can always use my phone as a hot spot if needed.

I'm in...will there be any grading companies there? About how many dealers? Less than a month away and that site/show needs some updates...hours?...what is included in VIP? $15 for admission...would like to know a bit more...not your show...just saying!

Adam will there be any other vintage dealers or collectors set up besides self?

Check the web site (link above) and ask the show runners. I am just a dealer, no involvement with the show itself.

I know of at least one other vintage dealer who will be there (he alerted me to the show). I'm guessing there will be more.

I messaged them yesterday re all of the questions asked above....will update when I get a response!

Called and info/hours is now up on the site...more to follow...but they siad should have a good mix of vintage and modern....not sure what to make of that but....

Thur - 6pm-10pm - PREVIEW NIGHT - Dealers and VIP Only
Fri - 11am - 6pm
Sat - 10am - 6pm
Sun - 10am - 4pm

Fri & Sat Talk Show Panels - 7pm - 8pm? w/Trade nights to follow (I think Fri & Sat)

I didn't even know about Thursday. Haven't gotten my dealer packet yet. I guess set-up is Thursday. Cool. I didn't want to work anyway.
