Thank you, sir, though I have to cop to cheating though. My guess was Roberto Clemente and only looked up O'Doul when I saw you posted him as the answer.

Clemente was a 4 time batting Champion though. Dave Parker was a 2 time batting Champion (1977, 1978) and won a championship with the 1979 Pirates (on 10/19/79) and another with the 1989 A's (on 10/28/89) 10 years 9 days, more than a decade, apart.
