sold Stan Musial Sept. 29, 1963 Busch Stadium Stan Musial Last Game
Ticket Stub the final game of the Hall of Fame career of "Stan The Man" Musial. Musial went 2-for-3 in the game with an RBI in the Cardinals 3-2 win over Cincinnati, slamming the lid on a 22-year major league career that yielded 3,630 hits and a .331 lifetime batting average. The most beloved player in St. Louis Cardinals history, Musial's last game capped an eventful final season, as just a few weeks earlier Musial's first grandchild was born, making him the first grandfather ever to hit a major league home run. Just a few days prior to his final game, Cardinals owner Augie Busch announced Musial's number 6 would be retired, and made "Stan The Man" a vice president in the Cardinals organization. He continued to have a visible public profile for decades after his retirement, before he passed away from Alzheimer's year.in 2013 was going to get it PSA slabbed would grade a VG-3 or VG-EX 4 but with a 3 month waiting to get it back , I figure some one may like it raw , ticket has great length , no writing, no staple holes but there is a crease running vertical on the left side edge could not find any ticket for this game sold recently to compare prices sold |
