Thoughts on Authenticity and value of this Jeter

I am looking to acquire this Jeter autographed magazine cover. It is not certified but it looks good compared to others. Any other opinions? Also, what would be the value? It is just the signed cover, not the whole magazine. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I am by no means a Jeter autograph expert. That said, I don't see a forger "signing" the piece so that half of it is very hard to see due to the background of the photo.

It's a bit of an older sig but from what I can see I like it. That said, you might get $150 for it. Even real Jeter's with no Steiner COA don't quite get the premium they would with Steiner or MLB authenticity.

Thanks everyone! I might post it for sale here and ask for $160. Does that seem fair?

Fair?

Without and JSA or PSA to back this item, it is high in my opinion. I personally like the auto but would not pay $160 (and I own numerous Jeter items).

Peace, Mike

What do you think is a fair price?

Non certified.....

If you paid around $75 that would be fair. The reduced rate builds in a bit of risk if the auto is bad. If I was looking to buy this item, I would pay $75 and no more.

Like I said, without any certification, you will have a tough time selling it for a profit. Just my 2 cents.

I thought you are buying it, not selling it. Confused.

To answer your question, a nice Steiner certified photo sells on eBay for around $150-200. I wouldn't pay more than $60 for that magazine.
