New to net54
 

Hello there.

Currently collect mostly pre-war. Did a set run of topps in various condition, mostly lesser, from 53-current, with unopened boxes from 1984-2011. Have sold most of the sets from 54-69 and now work mostly on pre-war sets, pretty much any, have a few Old Judges, 1915 Cracker Jacks, Goudeys. Working on 1 set that sticks out, 1978 topps in psa9 or better, have 400 in psa8, down to last 38 cards. Am on psa board as well, mostly look around for deals and try to get educated, prefer graded cards as have been burned in past, especially a recolored Rose rookie.

Thanks for your time, hope I can contribute something. I just enjoy the hobby and am having fun with it. Only sold due to neccessity, kept the older stuff, still trying to accumulate, and appreciate the knowledge around here.

Thanks for the welcome. Should edit to say, in 1978 set, only card #400 is an 8, and I have learned alot in a short time viewing other posts.

Welcome Tim. If I can ever help you with anything about the board don't hesitate to ask. We are a bunch of addicted collectors. A lot of us on this board are known as grumpy old men but don't let that scare you away. Most of us don't bite....Happy collecting and good luck in the quest. LL
