How to post scan on this site

Posted By: brian p
Can somebody tell me how to post a scan to this site? Someone (I believe runscott) provided this information previously a few months back, but heck if I can find it (with a search feature I could have found the answer in a jiffy snap).

Please help a computer numbnut provide a couple of pretty pictures for the Sporting Life/Famous and Barr thread.

Thanks,

Brian

Posted By: Ben
1. Open a thread, click "respond to this message"

2. Log in.

3. Once you've logged in, a button will appear below the text box that says "insert object". Click that.

4. A new window will open up, click "temporary files", then click "upload", and then browse through the files on your hard drive until you find the .jpg you want to post. It must be a small file, under 70k or so, in order for it to work. Once you've found a file to upload, click "insert link. Copy the link (ctrl-c) and paste (ctrl-v) into your thread response, and it will show up as a picture in the thread.

Man....there have GOT to be easier ways of doing this!

Posted By: brian p
Alas, my lack of feeling is not the result of morphine, but instead the aftereffects of mustard gas poisioning during the Great War. I now must rely strictly upon my sense of smell, which has become unnaturally keen. Thus no one can accuse me of being a numbnose.

Brian
