1953 Topps Baseball Box top OPC stamp
 

A friend of mine picked this up and I had never seen a 53 box with an OPC stamp. It looks like London, Ont. Can any one shed any light on this? Thanks!Attachment 350648

I’m a long time box guy and I do remember seeing one before some years back. I recall that underneath the box on the bottom had the OPC mark on it.:)

I have also seen the shipping boxes as well as 36 pack boxes from 1962 and 1963 stamped with OPC while the cards after '65 were always printed OPC, London, Ont., "Printed in Canada" or "OPC Ptd. in Canada". I sure didn't realize it went back to '53. Another of life's little mysteries....

Just bringing this back up to see if anyone has any information/opinions.
