Thoughts On Averill Autograph

This has been on eBay for a while and wanted to get peoples thoughts on it before I put an offer in on it.

It's good. I've put in a few offers to him, he wants like $250+ and in no hurry to move them.

It's fine. There is little financial incentive to forge Averill autographs, but I guess this set might be an exception.

Averill was one of the greatest TTM signers ever. Not only would he sign all the stuff you sent him, he'd usually send along a signed postcard photo of his own as well. And, if you were lucky you'd get another one in the return address.

Back in the day, I mailed Averill a publication that featured his photo on the cover, and a whole bunch of photos of him inside.
(I think it was published by Sports Scoop...perhaps their testimonial dinner program).
I asked him to sign the cover.
He did, but he also signed every single photo inside!

Nice little story.
That is just like all the modern day players would do :D.
