Not just 1 Mark (MK) but I counted almost 50.....yes 50 separate characters that were written on this card. Do they have a "Someone wrote a book" qualifier? :)

Poor Matty. I feel bad for him in this slab.

I dunno, doesn't seem like that big a deal to me. It looks like a 4, besides the marks. Some people might not mind those marks that much, I personally don't. If it ever came to market people will see it and pay what they want.

Appreciate your opinion but I feel it's clearly not a 4. Not even close. Thanks!

To each their own!

It should be slabbed as "PSA 4 MKL" (for the Roman numeral for 50).

Even had the writing not been added, the staining should have kept the grade below 4.

Card was graded probably 20 years under a much different interpretation of their standards.

It’s an older slab - hence an older grade. Probably a four when PSA originally graded it. However, it’s not a four under today’s standards. That is nowhere near a $10k card.

If that's graded today, my guess would be PSA 2mk.

When it was first listed it was $1999. I passed but thought that was a decent price. 12 hours later it’s $10k lol.
I guess if it doesn’t sell for x, then raise the price until it does.
Logical, I think not!

PSA qualifiers are stupid.

A 4 MK grade is like saying "This would be a 4 if it didn't have War and Peace written on the back. Aside from the pen and ink marks, its a solid 4".

Well then, it ain't a 4.
