Hopefully someone less technologically challenged than I am can get it up and running. We had a lot of fun with it last year and I enjoyed having the Chase Trophy at my home this past year <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14>

Posted By: <b>Bob</b><p>After all the crap Dickie V. and Digger unloaded on Arkansas for getting in, I hope my boys have a chip on their shoulders and sing the "no respect" ballad (ala Nolan Richardson) and win some games. Drexel finished 1-5 against the better teams in their conference plus lost to Elon, William & Mary, Furman, etc. Yeah, Dickie, they belong in. Hey Digger, K-State's non-conference schedule included Sisters of the Poor, School for the Blind and North Dakota School for Astronauts. Their RPI and strength of schedule was below Arkansas' Yeah, they deserve to be in. We had an RPI of 30, strength of schedule of 13 and went 5-5 against Top 25 teams and beat several NCAA teams and also beat West Virginia (NIT), Marist (conference champ and NIT), Miss. State twice (NIT), Ole Miss (NIT), Alabama (NIT)twice, etc. Give me a break and quit ragging the Hogs! We had to win 5 straight to get in and beat the division champ twice, Vandy (in NCAA) twice along the way. 4 games in 4 days was too much for the tired but gutty Hogs against Florida, number 1 seed of the number 1 seeds and defending national champs but we are in. <br />WOOOOOOOOOOO PIG SOOOOOIE!<br />Dickie and Digger can go to hell.

He attended to upscale Poly Prep, where Meryl Streep and John Franco's kids go, among many other celebrities. Our friends' boys went there and they showed me the yearbook from his senior year. The school devoted a whole page to him and he was a big shot even then. And he will be an NBA star!

On the other hand, occassionally this group inexplicably sleepwalks through a game (like they did in the Pac 10 championship against Oregon), in which case the Hogs will survive to the round of 32 and get embarassed by the Longhorns instead.

If Charles Thomas is ready to go (he had 18 points and 18 rebounds Saturday) our front line which is 6-9, 6-11 and 7-0 will dominate the smaller Trojans. You'll need to be at your best to beat us <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14> Toss out Sunday's dismal showing. Our guys were flat worn out playing 4 games in 4 days with everything on the line while Florida got a bye and coasted to early 20 point first half leads in their two games and rested their players. Teams with chips on their shoulders can be very tough so beware. <br />Bob<br />P.S. You might have thumped us in football in our opener but we came back to win 10 straight and lost only to the #1, #2, #4 and #6 teams in the nation. This means 2 free throws instead of giving him a shot at making the 3. You rarely see any coach with the guts to do this but it always works if you have the cajones to do it.

Marquette2 bracket, however, had it been entered would be tied for first place. Unreal! I submitted the bracket with all the upsets in the 54 contest and the one in which I used my head in another area and had 98.0 percent which would have tied our current leader as of Sunday morning. No cinderellas this year but an incredible amount of good tight games. <br />Unless someone near the top has Memphis or Oregon to win it all (doubtful), and it happens, I think the standings won't change much as almost everyone had GTown, NC, Kansas, Florida, Ohio State moving on and also Memphis and UCLA in the mix. <br />Not like last year...

Here, I still haven't even made it onto the first page! But I think they haven't recalculated after the second game last night, so maybe there's still hope.<br /><br />J
