Posted By: Dylan
Just turned 24 exactly one month ago(Feb.21). I have been a college student off and on, and next quarter, or at the latest winter, will resume studies again. I have been wanting to complete A BA in business admin., but recently have been giving some thought to lawyering too. I've been working as a server at a well known restaurant for a little over a month, but over the last couple years mostly as a table games dealer at casinos. I also am a serious athelete, and have competeted and won, both a bodybuilding show and a powerlifting meet. I love the individualism of the sports, challenging yourself on a daily basis to improve yourself. I've wanted to play college baseball for the last few years, many of my high school teamates play(ed) on local college teams, but unfortunatly the time you have to commit to the team would mean i wouldn't be able to work and thats not feasable. I love playing ball and always could hit for power, and id love to see what i could bring to the plate since putting on 25 to 30 solid pounds of muscle since high school, but i guess all i can do is imagine until i strike it rich

Posted By: Joe Tocco
I'm a 32 year old nuclear engineer working at a commercial power plant in Illinois. First kid is on the way, which I have not even come close to grasping. I mainly collect modern and semi-vintage, but I'm working on a mid-grade N162 set (all 50) and dabble in pre-war football cards, Jim Thorpe baseball items, and any other pre-war football-related item that I think would look cool in my card room .

Posted By: Mike
Mike Campbell

just turned 53. Ouch..Live in the Minneapolis area, on a large lake. Beautiful view each day. Hate the jet skis and the snowmobiles however. Very happily married. Two great kids. Both out of college. Yeah. Daughter was two time all conference high school shortstop, and one time all state shortstop. All conference shortstop in College. Son is working at Medtronics. Wife is pre school teacher. I was in commercial banking for 23 years. Retired, and am now President of my own real estate investment company. I collect mainly Jimmie Foxx related items. But do dabble a bit in Ruth, gehrig, and Hack Wilson. Even a bit of black Sox. I received an e mail from a national deale rwho we all know, asking me if I would be interested in a particular Foxx piece. Unreal...after I receive it, I will scan it. Neither him nor I had ever seen one like it. Too cool to comprehend. Can't say right now. Not made of paper....!!!! My office walls are almost completely covered in Foxx things. I also have about 70 original newsphotos and wire photos of Ruth, Foxx, gehrig, Williams, etc. etc. Cool to frame.

Live in La Maddalena, Italy and work as the Port Operations Officer, I get to play with 2 tug boats, 3 Landing Craft Mechanized, 7 fast response boats, 3 RHIB boats and 2 mooseboats and other cool stuff all day, not to mention the best sailors in the World work and play here.

Saw earlier in this post that one of the other members lives here as well, Zach S., I darn near fell out of my chair when I saw that. For those of you that do not know this place, it is a SMALL and I mean SMALL island north of Sardegna, Italy which is a large island that for the most part the rest of Italy hardly acknowledges as part of Italy. Take out a map and look us up, it is a flea in the big realm of things, but it is paradise to say the least.

Zach S. drop down to the Port Ops barge one day and introduce yourself. It would be good to meet up with a fellow collector.

Ciao'

If you want to discuss WORST fans in the world you would be talking about Colorado Buffalo fans. They had to have the entire student section removed from the football game against Nebraska 2 years ago in Boulder before the game could resume. It is the only venue in the Big XII I will not go to.
