The other names you had were correct, Russell (Lena) Blackburne, Phil Lewis and Tom Jones. Any chance you got a Hap Felsch photo in that lot? He was on the team in 1913.

The sheet on the right has names of players in small squares organized by team that were meant to cut up and placed clip pins, like a paper clip that could be on the basepaths or on the dugout I guess. Posted By: <b>Dave S</b><p>Greg--think the Game itself was copyrighted in 1922. Babe got there in '20...Roth in '21..and Jack Quinn was gone in '22, so lineup (i'd assume) had to be 1921. Think if you found a '21 Yankee roster somewhere, those names probably correct...<br />Don't forget the spinner pix!!

I'd love to hear what members are listed as playing for the team in 1890. Posted By: <b>David Atkatz</b><p>Thanks Dan. I grew up in the Bronx--pretty close to Yankee Stadium--and would hang out at the players' entrance (mid-60s) for autographs. Around 1965 I became interested in the 1920s Yankees, and obtained my first Ruth and Gehrig autographs in 1966. Collecting stopped when I went away to college in 1968, then graduate school, jobs (I'm a physics professor), marriage, children, etc.<br />Took it up again--seriously--in 1990, and with eBay's assistance I buy and sell a bit to support the habit.<br /><br />How about you?

Posted By: <b>Dan Bretta</b><p>I started with cards when I was a kid in the late 1970s - sold off my whole collection (with the exception of my Old Judge cards) around 1990 when I was in college. Around 1997 I discovered ebay and started collecting the T206 set and with that I got interested in all the ephemera surrounding the game and it's been pretty much non-stop collecting since then. My major focus is photographs and Nebraska related baseball items like the Nebraska Indians.<br /><br /><img src="http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b331/nudan92/Nebraska%20Indians%20Baseball%20Team/rea-greens.jpg"><br /><br /><img src="http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b331/nudan92/Nebraska%20Indians%20Baseball%20Team/nebind001.jpg"><br />

Based on the Red Hat band, they dated it from the Red Sox years. To be honest, I don't know how you can really pinpoint it to a specific date. Lelands also had another hat band (sans hat)like this which they called Red Sox years.<br /><br />Speaking of Sox....It's looking VERY ugly tonight.<br /><br />Greg
