Prewar, so appropriate in my book, but I also hear that Sassacus played a mean third base for the Cleveland Guardians.

Some serious pickups already this month. Congrats all. I just picked these two up for my T3 set (about 4-5 shy of complete now). And off eBay no less

PS- the Baker is not Baker, it’s Jack Barry. Unfortunate, but a necessary part of the set.

Super sharp corners on that T207...looks nicer than a 5!

And great BL pickup, that's awesome!

It's been at least 4 years of searching for a nice example and wow what a specimen. Once I receive this card in the mail it's off to SGC. I'm extremely happy to add this card to my collection.

Thanks, Phil! Recently I've been wanting to get some T206 cards. But I fear getting into them due to the cost. Obak's are much easier on the wallet plus I think they look nicer even though they're minor league cards.

Excited to snag this beautiful copy of the 1913 World Champion Philadelphia A's. The "$100,000 infield" was dubbed by historian Bill James, the best infield of all time and included HOF'ers Eddie Collins, Frank "Home Run" Baker and Jack Barry. Also, pictured are HOF pitchers Chief Bender and Eddie Plank. Coached by HOF manager Connie Mack.

Back stamps are WAY cool!

Well. You can be justifiably proud of your Charlie Ferguson. What a tragedy. Beautiful card.

Picked up this beautiful E98 Nap Lajoie blue background for my near set from fellow board member and good friend Phil after he upgraded his example for his master set.

Just adding this one to my collection....from an unknown pile of cards...

These 309-1 premiums are so great. The thick card stock, ornate border, the easel...extremely "premium". I take time to admire my Ruth every single day.

It's a shame the Sport Kings ones hardly exist, would love to see a Grange and a Morenz. But great card, I was bidding on that AL All-Stars too and will grab one eventually.

I picked up my first ever Old Judge, right here on Net54. Batting champ, .400 hitter, Triple Crown winner, Tip O’Neill.

I bet that Ruth's a beauty! Would love to add it someday. For now, I'll admire the group! :)

Picked up a pretty big addition to my Richmond Virginia minor league collection from fellow board member trobba. The T213-3 Coupon Chief Bender w/trees. 1919 was Bender' first of five years playing minor league ball and his only with the Richmond Colts.

Picked up this Rube Marquard raw at the Dallas Card show. (my first card show ever). Had a blast!

Just sent it off and got it back from SGC quickly. It's a beater, but got it for a reasonable deal and my 3rd HOF slab to add to the collection.

Unintentionally grabbed Matty, McGraw, and Marquard, all NY Giants as my first HOF pickups. Here is the family portrait!

Always was my favorite for these and finally won one and it's top graded. Nothing quite like it.
