Quarterly Grading Special #1 - 100 Years of Cards It was a smaller one I ran because I got someone's cards late. |

How many cards were in the sub and PSA lost the whole thing?
I got most of mine back now, but there are still a few cheaper ones that have been sitting there since Feb. It would be nice if I got them back this summer. |

God, now I feel like a slimeball after breathing a sigh of relief that it wasn't the Swingin 60's sub. Human nature sucks. I hope to heck they track down the missing cards.

I feel terrible. I still can't believe this is happening.
|
Wow, that's awful . My guess is they turn up.
I've had a sub there logged in december, passed 26 weeks in qa1 last friday |

Two ways to get out of the hobby
1. Sell your cards yourself on BST.
2. Send all your cards to PSA. NEVER GET CHEATED EITHER WAY.:rolleyes: |
Bobby can you post a link for the sub you're talking about I'm confused
as to which one it is and I'm not sure if I'm in it. |

Still nothing.

If PSA was smart, they would design a slabbing machine the size of a briefcase and send graders door to door. Not only can they grade your cards, but everything else in your house. Video games, comics, coins, beanie babies, your toaster, grandpa’s ash urn, whatever.
|
...and charge $1,000 per item. The sad thing is, people would pay it.

Why do bad things happen to good people?

Its PSA. They are HUGE. They are so overrun they shut down business. I would be willing to guess the number of lost packages has shot up

Maybe I can get slabbed. I’m vintage, well-centered, have good color, a nice surface, and am sharpe. I think I’m a PSA 8 all day. :D

Very sorry about the loss. As much as I always thought it was dopey, you put yourself out there and piss blood for 6-9 months for everyone. I think the package will eventually show up and it isn't your fault. To offer this service for everyone, you deserve a pat on the back, not a kick in the teeth right now. Good luck my handsome friend & All the best, Fudd. |

maybe joe Orlando will find the package when he cleans out his office tonight to pack up his personal belongings. so long joe, we hardly knew ye.

Bobby, you’ve provided a great sense of community and performed a valuable service for those who wanted their cards graded. You did the scut work that nobody else wanted to take on. The sheer volume at hand dictates that some cards will inevitably get lost. I hope you don’t take this incident too hard. You are a great asset to this forum and have helped a ton of people in the process. That said… I bet the cards eventually turn up. Fingers crossed! |

Rest easy guys. Bobby is on top of it, even if PSA isn't. Over a year ago, PSA "lost or misplaced" a card Bobby subbed for me on one of his group subs. Getting help, or info from PSA was like dealing with N. Korea on Wuhan. Bobby diligently kept me updated and . . . viola! . . . eventually it showed up. No thanks to PSA, but great thanks to Bobby!

Is this situation one of the reasons that they have you claim a value for each card (for restitution and/or insurance purposes), or do they have you do that strictly to calculate how much they can rape you?

tracking # for the returned cards?

If so, that would be reason for hope. Registered Mail can be slow at times. However, it tends to be the most secure delivery method. Packages are given different treatment (scanned every step of the way, kept under lock and key, etc.) than other items the Post Office handles. Pardon me if this was mentioned earlier. I had a busy weekend and didn't keep up on reading as much as I would have liked. |

But I believe the YouTube Channel comment was made in regard to publicizing the poor customer service and spreading negative feedback for all eyes to see (thus eliciting a quicker/more thorough response from PSA). |
Nothing new to report.
|
Thanks for everyone's advice. I did take the advice given and PM Nat Turner. Hopefully they can locate our group sub. Dave is telling me the package was handed off to USPS and they have lost the package. The info I am seeing tells me that was not the case. I will keep everyone updated. This is the tracking number is everyone wants to play along.

I had a 1967 Topps Orr go missing in October and it showed up six months later. Maybe they will find it?

Just got off the phone with them. No news to report and the trace is almost over.

The package has been officially deemed "LOST". PSA is getting back to me with a figure.

Phone call
Bobby, I’d like to speak to these guys via a phone chat or a zoom. This is not an acceptable solution. They have spent 4 weeks waiting on an investigation from the USPS and haven’t done anything else during that time.
They have noted they confirmed it left their facility but haven’t disclosed HOW they confirmed that. Was it word of mouth? Has anyone actually walked the floor to see? Just feels like they are banking this all on the USPS investigation without any backtracking that I can see. |

Years ago I tried a case against PSA over a Magie they threw away and was appalled to learn that they had no monitoring or electronic surveillance of the unpacking room, so no record of what happened when my client's package was opened. If they still have no surveillance it would be shocking, especially given the easy tech that is now available. Yet not surprising... |
They only want to pay the declared value. Nothing extra for the grades that the cards attained. That is why it is so important for you to DECLARE VALUES PROPERLY!!!!!
|
No no no
Declared value was from July of 2020. The values of the cards have increased substantially in that time and has to be considered.
I am out 15 cards including 10 that will take a long time to find and replace and for more money than they were worth 12 months ago by a bunch. Hoping we can have a conversation with their team to get this fixed because it really isn’t right. |
They keep trying to pin this on the USPS, but my info shows this package was never even handed off to the USPS. Did a disgruntled employee see it just laying around too long and decided to take it home?? Enquiring minds want to know. And that is also crazy that they want to pay out last years prices. I would like to get cards at last years prices as well.
