Another back attained for my Herzog run. Also, I was lucky enough to win a Mia Hamm PSA10 rookie card this week. I'll post it when it arrives! :D

Good mail today from the June Beockelman auction. T201 Stovall / Turner. T206 Glenn Liebhardt 1941 Play Ball Doerr

The Liebhardt is an upgrade for me and Doerr is one more on my rather passive attempt at the 1941 Play Ball set.

Very Nice Pickup and Great Eye Appeal

Congrats on Both. Time To Budget. One was an expensive and fantastic pick up today and the other a beautiful baby and expensive in the future.

Sterling pickup, and another big step towards completing my '33 Goudey set. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but for me it was the right card at the right price, with a little, let's call it character, thrown in. :)

Nothing special but picked up this Clark N172 today at a flea market for pretty much $3. Rough shape but happy to add it to the collection, dont have any of these in it.

Consummated a trade with a friend I've known since I was 2, but with whom I've probably not made a trade with in 30 years. Who knew the SC350 f25 would be so tough to land.

Picked up two different 1914 Otto Miller B18s.

One is the standard dark blue infield variety, whereas, the 2nd one is a baby blue, light blue infield. Not sure if it's a missed color pass or simply a freak. Thrilled to have it either way!

Great cards this month. Picked this up from the outside world. Always appreciate having at least one Frank Nagy card in a set I'm collecting.

Excited to get my first Ruth. Prices on these (and Bulgarias) have really exploded over the past couple years, so I probably bought at the top of the market, but I'd rather pay too much than run the risk of never getting a Ruth. The scratch on his arm is on the (jumbo) top loader he's in, the card itself is fine.

I'm admittedly a bit nervous about buying Ruth raw, but I think it's good. It passes the black light test. It has a pronounced rosette pattern under magnification; I don't know when they started doing that, but I've got 34 and 35 Goudeys that also have rosettes (although not to the same degree). Let me know if anybody has any concerns about it.
