Saw this on the blowout forums.

eBay sent out a $25.00 coupon code for any item $25.01 and higher to celebrate eBay‘a birthday. You can add multiple items in your cart if you need to.

The code is: HAPPY25

I just tried it and it worked!

However, about half of the posters on blowout said it doesn’t work for them.

Just thought I would share. Good luck. Let us know if it works for you?

Didn't work for me either. Maybe not available for sports cards? Either way, it didn't work.

I can confirm it DOES work for sports cards. I put two 1952 Bowman cards in my cart which totaled $29.00. On the checkout screen I put in the code, and it dropped my total to $4.00.

Actually, that is a good tip if you want to try it before spending. If you use your cart, you can back out of the purchase if it refuses the code.

Also, I used the app. Not sure if it makes a difference.

Like I said, the blowout thread reported about a 50% success rate. Looks like it’s a lot lower for Net54.

Hopefully someone else has success!

Yes, it does work. I just used it. Historic Images-store and Historic Images-market are having a buy one get one free special on buy it now photos through Monday. I found six photos at $19.95 I wanted and this is how it came out:

Item discount -$59.97
Shipping $4.99
Tax $3.60
Coupon, Voucher -$25.00
Total $43.56

A savings of $76.38. Not a bad deal. Thank you for pointing this out.

Awesome! Looks like lots of us had success. To answer a question from above, no, I have no idea when it expires. I wasn’t even sure it would work after last night, but it sounds like some of you had success today.

The only other detail I found online was that the coupon was issued for ‘select eBay accounts’. Not sure what criteria they used.

It was a no-go for me. :mad: Wonder why my account was not valued enough to receive a $25.00 coupon. I sure spend enough money each month.

I read somewhere that the code expires on 9/10/20. Happy for those that can use it.

Picked up a 63 Fleer PSA 8 for my set...$5.80 total !:D

In case it helps someone, let me add a possible technicality to consider...

My phone was temporarily out of commission today (the code worked fine on it when I did a test run last night, but I didn't actually end up using it), so I signed on to my ebay account via my friend's phone/app. When I went to check out, the code did not work. Tried it a few different times in succession and got the same result, it did not work. So I signed out, and he signed in to his account to buy the same card and BAM!!! the code worked fine. I'm sure the number of people experiencing what I just described is miniscule, but just make sure you're using the actual account of the user whose phone you are on.

Picked up an EXMT+ 1965 Topps #134 Mantle WS 3rd game card. With the $25 discount and using $18 of Paypal credit that I had been hanging on it, it only cost me $10. One card closer to my 1965 Topps set complete...only 26 cards left now.

I just got the email for the promotion. It says it is for accounts that have been with eBay for a very long time.

I guess 14 years isn't long enough. :cool:

No, add to your cart (not commit to buy) .. go to checkout - enter in promo code - if no dice, just back it out and remove from cart

The coupon Ebay sent me was for items I have only bought from every once in awhile, like clothes and tech gadgets. Not for what I usually purchase, baseball and football cards.

Received the email today. I have been a member since 1999. Not sure how long you have to be a member to receive the discount.

I posted earlier thanking for the heads up BUT today I got the coupon!! Better late than never so people maybe yours is coming.

My coupon finally came through late yesterday. Obviously I had already used it on Saturday night.

Also, I've been a member since June of 1999...so I guess that enabled me to make the cut for the coupon.

I got this for $2.96!
