PSA Piggybacking SPRING 2019 is ON!!!! Cards and Tickets!! LOGGED IN!! POPPED!!
I know we have our huge order outstanding, but I am accumalating wayyyyyyyyy too many raw cards. And if it is gonna take 4+ months just to get cards returned, I figured I would send them another batch in the meantime. Any interest in piggybacking on another group order??
|
hahah
of course.....
|
Yes!!
I should have about a dozen. |
I'm good for another couple or three.

let me count how many I have tonight.....and get a running count.
|
I'm also open to tickets, but the cheapest I am seeing is $20 per ticket.......I have some I would like to get graded.
|
PPS - I also noticed that the bulk grading service is 85 business days!!!! Holy smokes!!!!!
|
If you're doing it again... I have to get in on this one...let us know please. Thanks!
|
I would be interested. Having never done it before could you provide quick details of what we would need to do/costs? I have probably 20+
|
Well...the cost of grading is $8 per card for the bulk price.....and it would be an extra $1 to cover shipping to AND from California. You would include a piece of paper with the names and variations of the cards you are wanting graded....your net54 handle (so I can know who to message) and your return shipping address.
|
I got about (16) 1967 Topps Venezuelan singles I need graded. So, I am in. Also, does PSA still grade matchbook issues? If so, can one include them in the bulk?

I'll be in for somewhere between 10-30 depending on the deadline. Glad you're willing to do it again.
I have a bulk order at PSA right now that is at 99 business days, submitted just under the deadline to get the $7/card rate. That's one main reason there was a glut of submissions. My previous bulk order was done in about 50 business days, so this is just evening it out. My expected submission (33 cards, ALL MIN GRADE AUTHENTIC IF REAL): Baseball 1952 Topps #3 Hank Thompson Black Back - $40 Baseball 1952 Topps #19 Johnny Bucha - $20 Baseball 1952 Topps #69 Virgil Stallcup Black Back - $30 Baseball 1952 Topps #79 Gerald Staley Black Back - $30 Baseball 1952 Topps #107 Connie Ryan - $25 Baseball 1952 Topps #122 Jackie Jensen - $30 Baseball 1952 Topps #131 Morrie Martin - $20 Baseball 1952 Topps #157 Bob Usher - $20 Baseball 1952 Topps #198 Phil Haugstad - $25 2x Baseball 1952 Topps #201 Alex Kellner - $30 each Baseball 1952 Topps #267 Sid Gordon - $30 Baseball 1952 Topps #291 Gil Coan - $40 Baseball 1952 Topps #295 Phil Cavarretta - $40 Baseball 1952 Topps #313 Bobby Thomson - $99 Non-Sport 1963 Topps Famous Americans Stamps A Babe Ruth 50 - $99 1960 Mickey Mantle's Holiday Inn Matchbook Matchbook Cover Diamond Match Division - $75 Baseball 1961 Topps Stamps Mickey Mantle - $75 Baseball 1962 Post Cereal #5 Mickey Mantle Hand Cut - $99 Baseball 1963 Topps #173 Bombers' Best TRESH/MANTLE/RICHARDSON - $60 Baseball 1964 Topps #50 Mickey Mantle - $99 Baseball 1965 Bazooka #1 Mickey Mantle - $99 Baseball 1950 Bowman #88 Marty Marion - $25 Baseball 1957 Topps #336 Haywood Sullivan - $30 Baseball 1959 Fleer Ted Williams #51 Ted Is Patched Up - $20 Baseball 1966 Topps Venezuela #19 San Francisco Giants Team - $50 Baseball 1984 Fleer #131 Don Mattingly - $30 Baseball 1984 Topps Tiffany #8 Don Mattingly - $99 Non-Sport 1974 Topps Wacky Packs 6th Series Baby Runt - $15 Non-Sport 1978 Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band #60 Aerosmith - $20 TCG 1993 Magic The Gathering Fear Alpha - $50 TCG 1993 Magic the Gatherning Weakness Alpha - $50 Golf 2001 SP Authentic Gold #26 Bobby Jones - $10 Mailing out by Priority Mail on Monday. PSA definitely grades matchbooks, and they should fit in tallboy holders, not oversized, so they should be okay.

Anyone remember that thread (probably in the post-war section) that talked about lesser-known, low poppage (so many people understandably hate that word ) cards from the 50's through 70's?? Random cards that are ridiculously hard to find centered/focused/whatever and having them in a PSA 8 or 9 would be incredible?? I'd love to peruse that thread again and see if I have anything.
|
Bob, I have some football cards I want to send. I'll send you a pm. Rob
|
I'm in. I've never submitted before but have thought about 6-10 I would like to send in.
|
Thanks for taking this on. What is the price for tickets?

Bobby,
Please let me know when/if you got my PM and funds. Neither show up at this time in my Sent PM nor my transfer account. I put 12 cards in the mail yesterday. Thanks for doing this again. Jim |

The last time the deals were: "Special #1 - Cards valued over $100 but under $500. $17 per card. 10 card Minimum. I only have 2. I'm looking for 8 more. These are for higher valued cards, but not too high. I can give references. Special #2 - Bulk $7 per card. No age limit. Must be standard or tall boys (no T3's). To get the special, we need 100 cards. I have 50 myself. So looking a few others." So, only special #2 (and tickets) is happening this go round but at $8 a card? Is there a value limit on the card submitted? Thank you. |
?
Are '53 Redman w/tab included at the $8 bulk rate, or are they considered supersize?
|
Tx Bobby
I have between 4 and 10 cards. Waiting for one in mail and then will forward with my cash.

These are the sizes. The cards CAN NOT EXCEED TALL BOY!!!!!
Standard - 2 11/16" x 3 13/16" Tall Boy - 3 1/2" x 5 1/6" |
Trickling in!!!
|
I need to call PSA about what to do with cards slightly taller than "tall boy" size.
|
Hmmm, I just submitted mine (1947-66 Exhibits) on my Oversized renewal submission.
I listed 11 so far, but I just sent a group home from COMC so I'll probably have around 30-40 total. |

I shipped out yesterday, I had 21 total this time around.

One, just like the same years' Topps issue (see 1962 below) and one described as Venezuelan Topps (see 1967 card below) I have seen graded cards of each version. |

I want in on this piggy-back - just need your paypal address. |
Darn, you had said by March 1st and I fell a bit short on time so I figured maybe next time. And I see many last minute shoppers are still sending in. Did I miss a new deadline?

I am traveling and don't have the time to post images, but an online search or search of eBay will show the different cards in the 1967 set. |

After reading your post, I checked the Standard Catalog of Vintage Baseball Cards and it has the 1967 card I posted listed as '1967 Venezuelan League' - the cards are smaller than standard. Thanks for sharing . |
