Piggybacking pre 1956 $6.50 per card special LOGGED 4/11/18 - GRADES POPPED 5/11/18
Just gauging interest at this point.
|
absolutely........I have 20-30 I'd like to send in.
|

|
I might have a few.
|
I'd be very interested, submitting most of a 1954 Redheart set.
|
I have a few I could contribute,
|
I have 3 cards
|
Possibly, but it wouldn't be until closer to the end of the month to see what accumulates
|
I’m in for a handful. I’ll pull some this weekend. I assume these all must be standard size?

Regular size, thick/patch, Tallboy cards are accepted.
EXCLUDES: Supersized (larger than 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"), T3, and Dual Service Cards, tickets and packs. Thats from PSA.....tall boys are OK.....supersized is not....if a redman is larger than 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 IT CAN NOT GO!!! |
Is there a dollar value cap? I have a really nice raw 54 Bowman May’s that I think could hit a a 7 or 8 (who am I kidding, it will come back a 4). If the value limit is $100 then this would be above. Otherwise I can get it to you and find a few others.

Does this mean we can mix sizes on the order? I may have some tall boys to submit but don’t have 25 of them. |
Quote:

They can all be submitted, but I believe you'll have to put multiple orders together with separate return shipping. But you don't have to meet the minimum on all orders submitted at the time under the special, just have at least that many total.

Here are the details:
Years: Pre-'56 A 25–card minimum is required. All Sports and non-sports cards. Cards must be valued under $100 each. Please Note: Each Type Of Submission requires its own submission form. Regular size, thick/patch, Tallboy cards are accepted. Coins/Pins are permitted, but must be on its own submission form, with its own return shipping fee. EXCLUDES: Supersized (larger than 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"), T3, and Dual Service Cards, tickets and packs. Turnaround time is approximately 50 business days, but can vary with demand. |

I'll be in for a few by the end of the month.
Any word on our last submission? thx |

This is for PSA right? I got a bunch of T206 I need graded.

For those that don't know the routine (have never submitted with me before), you package the cards up and send them to me. The cost is $6.50 per card for the grading PLUS $1.00 per card for shipping TO AND FROM California. They MUST be in Card Saver I's...NO TOP LOADERS......You pack them up, include a sheet of paper stating what the cards are, the values you place upon the card should PSA damage them, and your return shipping addy. Also put your Net54 "handle" on the form so I will know who to contact should anything arise. When I get the cards, THEN you can send a PayPal payment (however you send it so they dont take out fees), to cover the costs of grading and shipping. Checks are OK, but I prefer PayPal. When the cards come back, you are responsible for the shipping charge back to you. I know it SOUNDS like a lot, but it isn't. It's relatively easy. Ask anyone who has subbed with me before. I am the one who has to keep track of everything for months on end :-p
|
Bobby do you have details such as address ready yet? I have at least two or three cards to toss into this deal. Thanks for putting this together.
|
Interested in sending in a few. Sent a PM with question.

Bob,
I'll probably be sending 10-12 to you on Thursday. |
I only have 1 from 1956 (and none that are older). Is it worth it to send 1 off? I've never had anything graded, nor have I ever bought/dealt with graded. So this would be a first for me. Here's the card...

Card doesn't look like it would grade more than a 5. Leave it ungraded.

Hi Bobby,
I think I might want to get a few cards over to you as well. When are you looking to send into PSA? Is next week too late for send to you? Thanks, Bret |

Hello - I'm new here, but not to the hobby. I've got a few to send your way if you are okay with it. Thanks!

Do you have a preference or does it matter if the cards are in penny sleeves inside of the card savers?

Just wanted to say I think it's really cool of you to do this for people. It's time consuming to put submissions together, and the $7.50 rate you're offering can't be beat. In all the submissions I've put together, I don't think I've ever had the actual cost be below $8 per card after shipping each way. If you're also paying to ship the cards back to people, I imagine you're probably running this at a loss. I hope everyone participating realizes what a nice thing you're doing.

For those that are curious, PSA received the cards on MARCH 5th....no, they have not been logged into the system yet. The countdown doesn't start until they have officially been logged in.

I am still trying to get over the fact they had the cards in their possession for over a month and did nothing with them. That isn't any way to run a business.....but I guess it works for them. |
News coming soon.

Looks good!! Thanks to Jeff for removing the certs!! Some idiot thought it was fun to add cards to the registry that they didn't own. The wait wasn't so bad this time. Probably because it is small.
|
Thanks Bobby!!
|
Pleased with the results - thanks so much for your efforts in getting this done!
|
Appreciate the work in putting this together. Happy with results too.
Cory |
Maybe this means my January special will be ready soon.
|
Cards are back....all submitters be on the lookout for return shipping PM's.
|
First batch went out. Even with me eating some of the shipping cost back to the people. SMDH.
|
Cards have all been shipped and should be arriving in mail boxes as we speak.
|
Huge thank you to Bobby for once again setting this up! Had a few grades I loved and a few that missed by half a point but all in all I was pretty darn happy with the results.
Also threw out closeups of my 3 big scores from the group https://farm1.staticflickr.com/966/4...1060b9e96e.jpg https://farm1.staticflickr.com/972/4...7135296f04.jpg https://farm1.staticflickr.com/832/4...368d490e3f.jpg https://farm1.staticflickr.com/971/4...5c28f6c68f.jpg |
