Send Me Your T206 Wantlists - cards are in hand - will be shipped today 11/30
On Saturday I will be scanning and documenting a new to the hobby collection of over 300 T206 cards. A few things to keep in mind regarding the cards that will be available for purchase:
There are no rare backs. Rarest backs would be a few Sovereign and EPDG cards. Condition runs the gamut from poor to EX. Majority would be good to VG/EX. Commons, stars, HOF, major HOF all available including all four Cobbs. Those who send me their wantlists will get right of first refusal on cards within the collection. You will also get scans and pricing before the cards are posted to Net54. The order that I receive the wantlists will be the order of preference on a card by card basis. Please be sure to state the condition that you are looking for. I don't want to hold a card in GD if you are only looking for EX or better. Great opportunity to get your foot in the door on your needs from a new to market collection. Tom C |

I am working on a spreadsheet for all of the want lists I have received both in this post and via PM's. Responding either way is perfectly fine. I will have everything in the order it was received and that will be the order for the items being available for right of refusal.
Please note that these are not my cards. I feel that the best way to get the gentleman the most money is to sell the cards for him on commission. That way he can maximize what he gets out of it. I HOPE...key word....hope....to have the images and prices ready on Sunday. Tom C |

Hold tight for the scans everyone. The cards weren't exactly in alphabetical order when I got here, so will have to wait until I get home to see out the scans. But this pic of some (some) of them should wet your whistle.

Anyone who has sent me a PM or replied in this thread since the original group I will get you going tomorrow. Please note that the back scans for scan group one got mirrored, so the top left front scan matches the top right back scan. This was the only one I screwed up this badly. Also note that one of the later scan groups included a Waddell portrait front scan with no back scan. This was a reprint that he had as a filler in his collection and forgot to remove. Tom C |

Tom -- Just want to say a big thanks to you for taking this huge project on.
I know everyone on the board appreciates having a run at this find. Because you're doing this the right way, giving over 50 members their shot in order, I'm sure this is going to take quite some time to settle out. Hopefully we can all remember that, and be patient to a fault as this runs its course. This kind of thing is what makes Net54 so great -- Thanks again!! |

Indeed. I have started the process with those who have mostly "first in line" status on their wantlist. Those are the easy ones and they affect the majority of the cards. I will get to everyone eventually, and your place in line for the individual cards will not change.
I am hoping to get the first batch of cards shipped out just after the holiday, but $$ transfer times, etc could work against me a bit on that front. I hope to get the first ones shipped out by Saturday but it could be Monday afternoon. This also depends on the availability of the owner of the cards as well. I will be sure to notify those awaiting shipments the status as soon as I know, and will send tracking info to all who get cards. Some have given me a secondary list apart from their original wantlist, which is awesome. I highly recommend this as it will make for a "round two" of sorts. Finally, if anyone who sent me their original wantlists have not yet let me know which cards they are interested in, please please please please please get me those lists as soon as possible. Tom C |
Slight change in plans.
The gentleman whose collection these are in will not be available until this coming Wednesday for me to pick up the cards that have been ordered (over 125 in total). I will be there on Wednesday evening to get the cards and will send them out on Thursday. I will send tracking info to everyone who has made a purchase at that time. Also, I am going to end the private sale portion of this adventure at 12:00 PM noon this coming Tuesday November 28. There are several people I have not heard from with regard to what items they want. Some have been in contact with me but others have not. This is getting a bit too much for me so I will give it until then. That way everyone who has given me a want list will have had over a week to decide and communicate with me. If there is anyone whom I have not yet contacted please let me know. It is likely because you are behind some people who have not been able to get me their list. Starting at 12:00 noon and running until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, anyone who has already sent me their wantlist will be able to order any items at all. On the wantlist or not. You will have a six hour window. First come first served. Before then, it will still go in order. But between 12:00 noon Tuesday and 6:00 PM Tuesday, all cards that have not yet been paidfor will become available to everyone who has access to the scans and prices. After 6:00 PM Tuesday I will shut things down as I concentrate on getting the items and shipping them out. Some time on Thursday or shortly thereafter I plan on posting the scans and pricelist to the board in general. Thus anyone will be able to get whatever cards they like. As of 11:00 AM, below is the list of cards still available. Starting at noon today, those who have access to the scans and price list will be able to get any of the below cards on a first come first served basis. This free-for-all will end at 6:00 PM tonight. I will then shut things down for a few days while I concentrate on shipping out the cards that have sold.
