Show your favorite E-cards
I thought I would start a thread that didn't involve either of the two T's: T206s or Trash-Talking.
Here's a rarity that some early 20th century kid must've barely saved from becoming dog food: http://caimages.collectors.com/psaim...%20collins.jpghttp://caimages.collectors.com/psaim...ins%20back.jpg |

I have way too many favorites but this is one of them. Since it is on our current iteration of the Net54baseball T shirts it makes the cut...

Mine has to be my E92 Dockman Matty :D

Let's add a second BSF card:
http://dyn2.heritagestatic.com/lf?se...oduct.chain%5Dhttp://dyn1.heritagestatic.com/lf?se...oduct.chain%5D Though I do like these two as well: Menagarie back of an already tough front image (should be an e92 not e102 as labeled) http://www.whitewhalecards.com/files...8215_front.jpghttp://www.whitewhalecards.com/files...c8215_rear.jpg and the only e90-1 exclusive artwork blank back that I know of: http://www.whitewhalecards.com/files...40f_front.jpeghttp://www.whitewhalecards.com/files...a40f_rear.jpeg |

I know my copy is creased all to hell, but this is my favorite image of the Babe on a card and one of my more prized cards in my collection.

Chuck,
Those are two of my favorite E93s. I thought about posting those too, but I could easily post that whole set. Aesthetically it is the best IMHO. JimB |
I can't stop when it comes to E cards..

Awesome cards everyone. I sure hope to add an e101/e102 Cobb to the collection this year.
Also had to add - Jim, that E98 Matty is off the charts. Another card on my want list this year. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps96ddae95.jpghttp://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps6f58cb1e.jpghttp://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps6be03f16.jpg http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps269d5943.jpg |

I agree with Jim B....it's hard to eat just one Lay's......
Candy cards are cool even when they come from a box... |
Dean,
I love that CJ Johnson. JimB |

Love the contrast of the gray uniform against the bright background with Tannehill (albeit the wrong Tannehill). As shown many times before, the worst Upp ever.
Boxing E80 -- A nice succession of Lightweight champions. Young Corbett was a nobody until he beat the unbeatable Terrible Terry McGovern. Then Ad. Wolgast took the crown later from Battling (real given name) Nelson. ((If you have nothing better to do today, look up Wolgast, an unbelievable sad story)) Attachment 137120 |

Here is my favorite!
I like the horizontal pose, but mostly, I like the name in pencil. It is the last name of the boy that my Great Uncle acquired the card from, in trade, in 1915. It is cool that this kid is still connected to this card, even though he has likely passed away. I have a few like this, but this my favorite. |

Luke and Daryl, for my money, cards with that Matty front are among the most beautiful ever created. Cards just don't get much more aesthetically pleasing than that. |

Jeff,
I love that Collins-McCarthy Cobb... and Black Swamp cards don't suck either. JimB I thought I would dial back the E card fest here to it's origins and post this one. http://photos.imageevent.com/jimblum...20SGC%2030.jpg |

Well I have to say I never really cared much for anything else but goudey's but I saw this from this past months sterling auction and jumped on it. Not the most expensive but my first ever "e" series card ever. So as of right now this is my favorite.
