Show your favorite E-cards

I thought I would start a thread that didn't involve either of the two T's: T206s or Trash-Talking.

Here's a rarity that some early 20th century kid must've barely saved from becoming dog food:

Nice card. Mine's the e101 version.

I have way too many favorites but this is one of them. Since it is on our current iteration of the Net54baseball T shirts it makes the cut...

Mine has to be my E92 Dockman Matty :D

I know my copy is creased all to hell, but this is my favorite image of the Babe on a card and one of my more prized cards in my collection.

Those are two of my favorite E93s. I thought about posting those too, but I could easily post that whole set. Aesthetically it is the best IMHO.

I just checked out that set and it is very impressive. I don't know how cards stay that fresh looking.

Thanks Daryl! Awesome Matty as well. I hadn't seen one with the Mello Mint back. I agree, it's the best image out there, and is worthy of a T-shirt!

Awesome cards everyone. I sure hope to add an e101/e102 Cobb to the collection this year.

Love the contrast of the gray uniform against the bright background with Tannehill (albeit the wrong Tannehill). As shown many times before, the worst Upp ever.

Boxing E80 -- A nice succession of Lightweight champions. Young Corbett was a nobody until he beat the unbeatable Terrible Terry McGovern. Then Ad. Wolgast took the crown later from Battling (real given name) Nelson. ((If you have nothing better to do today, look up Wolgast, an unbelievable sad story))

WOW!!! There are some sweet cards posted to this thread. I cannot compete. This is my favorite from my collection. I know I'm in the minority, but I like B&W cards:

One of the most eye pleasing cards of any E,T,W,etc. series around.

Yep, one thing I like about the Brown card is you can see he's only got 3 fingers. And thanks to your avatar, the Mathewson has now become known as the "JimB". :)

One of my favorite E's....

this is a great e-card, found it on American Greetings:

Here is my favorite!
I like the horizontal pose, but mostly, I like the name in pencil. It is the last name of the boy that my Great Uncle acquired the card from, in trade, in 1915. It is cool that this kid is still connected to this card, even though he has likely passed away.

I have a few like this, but this my favorite.

Here's the WaJo card from an "E" set that doesn't have an ACC #.

Luke and Daryl, for my money, cards with that Matty front are among the most beautiful ever created. Cards just don't get much more aesthetically pleasing than that.

Of the few E cards that I have left, probably this one.

Well I have to say I never really cared much for anything else but goudey's but I saw this from this past months sterling auction and jumped on it. Not the most expensive but my first ever "e" series card ever. So as of right now this is my favorite.
